Manawydan by LāErtes Muldrow is a terrific novel to read on All-Hallows Eve to give everyone shivers. His incredible narrative skills will certainly transport you to another dimension with this fantasy horror adventure. An ancient Egyptian prophecy foreshadows a series of events in Manawydan. Hatshepsut was a queen from ancient Egypt. This prophecy is one of a kind as it entails years of events and circumstances which continue to transpire even in the 21 St century.

LaErtes is most definitely no S.K., who is a 1 of a kind. However, LaErtes is without a doubt, "The King of Horra/Thrilla", and that also makes him a 1 of a kind. His first novel, "Evolve", was ok, as far as 1st books go. But, "Manawydan", now this book is a different journey all together and told in a much more matured style of storytelling - almost as if a different writer wrote it. Only after reading the 4 novella books in Evolve, and then reading Manawydan, could I tell the same person penned all 5 books.

Manawydan kept me on the edge of my seat. Excitement in each chapter, I couldn't put this book down. The characters spoke to me as I read about them and their lives. I was able to clearly visualize what I was reading. During the storms at sea I saw images from the movies "Perfect Storm", and when the "Devil's Breath" appeared I saw, "The Fog". I could see this massive ancient ship on the open sea with its terrified passengers as the water rips across its decks and spills into the holds.

I must say that "Manawydan", by LaErtes is the most enjoyable read for me in quite a while. It is a clever blend of factual history, page turning drama, humor, and a soul wrenching recounting of the dreaded slave ship tales of horror, all uniquely crafted into a modern horror/science fiction genre-
Very chilling! This is a smartly developed novel and you owe it to yourself to enjoy "Manawydan" as soon as you can-

I loved this book. This is the LaErtes's second published work. This man is someone to keep your eye on. His writing style is clean and to the point. Its exciting, thought provoking, fun, scary and at times heart warming. I highly recomend this book. It kicks butt. I also recomend his first book Evolve.

I find Cover-Up as an engaging futuristic mystery novel, taking readers on an exciting adventure through the life of the protoganist, Donovan. The story creates a thrilling mix of reality and fantasy. The plot is compelling and unpredictable, making it a real page-turner. I particularly enjoyed the way the author tackled the moral issues in the story and gave readers a realistic view of the possibilities of the future.

Indeed an incredibly captivating futuristic fantasy novel. Muldrow has created a unique universe full of immense worlds, dazzling technology, and powerful adversaries. The story follows the life of an Olympic athlete that will completely turn upside down as he traverse and uncover the secrets that could potentially save the future of the world. Donovan Mocion is a dynamic and determined protagonist in this futuristic fantasy mystery. I was taken in by the synopsis of the book and enjoyed the ride as the narrative moved through the plot twists and turns. Donovan’s journey as a paraplegic survivor had me hooked, and I especially appreciated how LaErtes Muldrow weave every character's relationship with one another. Such a creative read with an equal mix of gripping action and emotion — highly recommended!

The book is a fast-paced and thrilling narrative about the unstoppable power of technology. It'll have you on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen next! I appreciated the realistic portrayal of Donovan as a paraplegic navigated his recovery and dealt with the difficult dynamic between him and Francine Bovier. It was truly an engrossing read!
